<p>Here are four normal thickness for 2<a title="2L (Double sided) FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products/double-sided-fpc.htm"> layers (Double sided) flex circuit</a>, and we hope it&#8217;ll be useful for the green hand:-)</p>

<p>As you can see, there&#8217;re adhesive in base for each four basic thickness of <a title="2L (Double sided) FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products/double-sided-fpc.htm">2L (double sided) flex circuits</a>, if you need more thin, then you can use adhesiveless material, and final thickness will be thinner even you use the same copper and Polyimide thickness. 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As is well known, solderability is very important for the printed circuit boards, we must do solderability test of each batch PCB we made. In this way we can inspect the weldability of the PCB before we go ahead the assembly process, much helpful for SMT. </p>
<p>Today we are going to discuss the solderability test experiment. In order to explain it more clear, we now do a simple solderability test and show you all the steps.</p>
<p>1. Take a small solder pot, plug in the power, turn on the switch and heat the solder pot to a certain high temperature(about 8 minutes).<br />

3. After few minutes, there will be enough melting liquid tin in the solder pot to do this test. <img alt="" src="http://www.bestfpc.com/blogimages/2011/melting-tin.JPG" class="aligncenter" width="400" height="410" /><br />
4.Use a tweezers to pick up a PCB circuit, first clean the PCB with rubbing alcohol. 5. This is the key step of this test, put the PCB into the solder pot, depth about 2 mm,time 4-5 seconds is ok. 6. Take out the PCB from the solder pot and put it into the cold water. After few seconds, you can see the experimental effect. <img alt="" src="http://www.bestfpc.com/blogimages/2011/Test-Results.JPG" class="aligncenter" width="400" height="177" /></p>

<p>The National Day of the China is celebrated every year on October 1. It is a public holiday in China. Usually people will have a 7 days holiday to celebrate the national day, called “Golden Week”.</p>
<p>National Days are festivals which can stand for independent countries. In the world, countries establish their Notional days on the basis of different ways. Therefore, the names and celebrations of National days in different countries are various. In China, The most significative activity in National Day is The Big Parade in Beijing, Parade Is a ceremony to review the armed forces.</p>
<p>This day is a day of national celebration. Most people will go travel on this holiday, especially to visit the “Red&#8221; tourist sites. People also can enjoy kinds of evening party. </p>
<p>On this national day of prayer and remembrance, we ask almighty God to watch over our nation, and grant us patience and happyness!</p>
<p>Our Best Technology will have a 4 days holiday from tomorrow (Oct 1) to Oct 4 to celebrate the National Day, and reopen on Oct 5. Hope everyone can enjoy this holiday and have a good rest. </p>

<p>Mid-autumn Day is one of the import traditional Chinese festivals, falls on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month. On that night the moon is brighter and fuller than any other night. In China, Mid-autumn Day is a time for family reunions.</p>
<p>In ancient China, poets considered the moon as a symbol of brightness, purity, and goodness. They wrote many beautiful poems about the moon. The most popular one was a story about a lady on the moon. She flew to the moon and lived in the Moon Palace. </p>
<p><a href="null"><img alt="" src="http://t2.baidu.com/it/u=2310019235,695352176&amp;fm=0&amp;gp=0.jpg" class="alignright" width="140" height="105" /></a>On Mid-autumn Day, almost everyone gets together with his or her family, eating mooncakes, chatting and watching the moon. Mooncake, whose round shape symbolizes both the fullness of the moon and family togetherness. There are many kinds of mooncakes. They are small round cakes with meat， nuts or something sweet inside . eating mooncakes has been our custom.</p>
<p>The Moon Festivals is one of three major Chinese holidays, along with the Spring and Dragon Boat Festival .On that day， families get together，so we call this day getting together. This is Mid-autumn Day. I love it very much.</p>

Similar to the spring festivals of other cultures, Tomb Sweeping Day celebrates the rebirth of nature, while marking the beginning of the planting season and other outdoor activities. </p>
<p>The Tomb Sweeping Day in Ancient Times<br />
In ancient times, people celebrated Qing Ming Jie with dancing, singing, picnics, and kite flying. Colored boiled eggs would be broken to symbolize the opening of life. In the capital, the Emperor would plant trees on the palace grounds to celebrate the renewing nature of spring. In the villages, young men and women would court each other. </p>
<p>The Tomb Sweeping Day as Celebrated Today <img alt="" src="http://t3.baidu.com/it/u=2444433181,1314063640&amp;fm=0&amp;gp=0.jpg" class="alignright" width="104" height="140" />With the passing of time, this celebration became a day to honor the past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese people believed that the spirits of deceased ancestors looked after their family, sacrifices of food and &#8220;paper money&#8221; could keep them happy, then they would bless the family prosper through good harvests and have more children.<br />
Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any underbrush that has grown, remove the weeds, swept away the dirt, and set out offerings of foods and burning &#8220;paper money&#8221;. </p>
<p>Up to now, the custom of obeisance ancestry and grieve over those already died relatives on Tomb Sweeping Day are still very widely accepted.</p>

The wetting balance is the standard method of test and provides the repeatability that other methods do not.</p>
<p>Test Principle: Put the samples into tin bath, detect the solderability according to the hole wetting degree.<br />
Ttest Purpose: Test the solderability of the PCB samples<br />
Test Instrument: Thermostatic tin stove<br />

<p>Procedure:<br />
1. Setting the tin slot temperature at 245℃, turn on the power.<br />
2.Waiting for the Test Procedure up to 245℃+/-5℃, paint the samples with rosin. Use clamps nip it , just do as wave-soldering,let samples contact with the tin slot surface. Depth is about 2mm, time is nearly 4 seconds.<br />
3. Tin material changing times: once / two weeks<br />
4.Comments: The plated holes permit only 10% with half infiltrating, nonwettable and air blow is not allowed.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When news come in, no one can believe it. I think, is it a rumor? But few hours later, we have to accept the fact. 9.0 Earthquake really happened in Japan! It is one of bigger disaster recently happened in the world. Remember last time in China, the earthquake is only 8, but it has caused uncountable lost for us. We really hope this bad condition will be finished very soon.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>International copper prices surged in the latter part of last year,this directly impact the price of copper foil. Since last September it raised month by month. It is reported that February is still raising 8% to 10%, and don’t eliminate to reset to higher prices again in March.</p>
<p>The substantial price rise of the copper foil directly influences the CCL and PCB industry. In February, both the thick and thin CCL had raised 5%-8%. Fiberglass had risen 20%. The PCB industry have gradually turned the corner also had to rise in price. The PCB industry improved obviously in the first quarter this year since last year’s downturn. The price of fiberglass appears a rose space .</p>
<p>On the side, the RMB appreciate against USD dollar, furthermore, gold and copper price, still keep rising since late last year. Especially CCL have also rised this year, this made PCB manufacturers under much pressure, more than 10% of the products had been raised the prices. Some few manufacturers are still keep communicating with their customers recently.</p>

Christmas Day is a holiday observed generally on December 25 to commemorate the birth of Jesus, the central figure of Christianity. It’s a national holiday in western countries resemble the Chinese New Year. But now, it has grown steadily over the past few centuries in many regions of the world.</p>
<p>Christmas means a joyful time of year. It brings friends and family together. Everyone smells joy in the air and everyone is celebrating Jesus’ birthday. It’s a matter of opening gifts, you can get a lot of presents from “Santa Claus”.</p>
<p>Christmas Day is the time spending with your family, seeing all the beautiful lights, decorating the tree, eating all the food you can eat, send gifts to each other. How Happy!</p>
<p>The Christmas atmosphere in China is getting more and more strong these years. Many family and supermarkets also have a decorated Christmas tree. People sent gifts and cards to show their blessings . All Peole are doing expect for the new year .</p>
<p>Christmas to me means when you think of people that love you and the people who are loved by you, not just all the presents and the decorations. It&#8217;s all about giving and recieving and spending time with your loved ones.</p>

<p>Send money to your customers, your friends is very easily. Login your A/C and click “Send Money” on top position and you will see two opinions: “Send money online” and “Pay for eBay items”. I take a picture showing “send money online”.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Double Fifth Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. For thousands of years, the festival has been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous rice wrapped to form a pyramid using bamboo or reed leaves )and racing dragon boats.</p>
<p>The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern provinces where there are many rivers and lakes. This regatta commemorates the death of Qu Yuan , an honest minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river.</p>

<pre><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px; white-space: normal; font-size: 13px;">The people of Chu who mourned the death of Qu threw rice into the river to feed his ghost every year on the fifth day of the fifth month. But one year, the spirit of Qu appeared and told the mourners that a huge reptile in the river had stolen the rice. The spirit then advised them to wrap the rice in silk and bind it with five different-colored threads before tossing it into the river.</span></pre>
<p>During the Duanwu Festival, a glutinous rice pudding called zong zi is eaten to symbolize the rice offerings to Qu. Ingredients such as beans, lotus seeds , chestnuts , pork fat and the golden yolk of a salted duck egg are often added to the glutinous rice. The pudding is then wrapped with bamboo leaves, bound with a kind of raffia and boiled in salt water for hours.</p>
<p>The dragon-boat races symbolize the many attempts to rescue and recover Qu&#8217;s body. A typical dragon boat ranges from 50-100 feet in length, with a beam of about 5.5 feet, accommodating two paddlers seated side by side. Dragon boat races in long, thin, canoe-like boats often sporting the head of a dragon on the prow, are a southern Chinese tradition.</p>

<p>Except eating zong zi and dragon-boat races Chinese people also cleaning the house on that day. The Dragon Boat Festival is also a cleaning festival. It is traditional for people to clean their houses on this day. It is also considered important to put up some leaves of mugwort or cattail on either side of the door, spray realgar water, and drink realgar liquor. These things are thought to prevent rot and kill bacteria to stop the spread of diseases.</p>
<p>Experts say, the Dragon Boat Festival custom began in China, the spring and autumn and warring states period, has more than 2000 years of history. But today, Dragon Boat Festival is still a very popular and grand festival among Chinese people.</p>

<p>Technically, it may also be divided into three types: blind via, buried via and though hole. Blind via is located on the top and bottom surfaces of the PCB, deep and used for connection of top traces with the inner layer traces below.</p>
<p>Buried via is the connecting hole which is located in the inner layer of the PCB and won’t extent to the surface.</p>
<p>Through hole goes through the whole PCB, which is used to realize inter-connection or used as components mounting position hole. Due to the simple technique and low cost, most of PCBs use it rather than the other two via.</p>

<p>3. Components encapsulation technology</p>
<p>(1) Through hole technology</p>
<p>It means we mount components on one side, and solder the pins on the other. The disadvantage of it is space consuming. In fact, theirs pins take up space of both sides. While the advantage of it is good construction, which can bear pressure.</p>
<p>(2) Surface mounted technology<br />
it means pins are soldered on the same side as components. We don&#8217;t have to drill holes  on <a title="board thickness for double sided FPC" href="http://bestpcbs.com/products" target="_blank">PCB </a>and don&#8217;t have to solder every pin. The advantage of<a title="pcb basic knowledge" href="http://bestpcbs.com/products" target="_blank"> SMT</a> is that the components are more compact and cheaper than those in THT.</p>

<p> (1) Single sided PCB</p>
<p>Single sided board means the conductor pattern appears only on one side. Because single sided PCB has many strict limits. On trace design, only circuit at early stage use this kind of boards.</p>
<p>(2) Double sided PCB </p>
<p>Double sided board means the conductor patterns appear on both sides of the board. However if we use the conductor patterns on both sides, there should be proper circuit to connect two sides. The bridge between the circuits is called via. Those vias are plated with metal, such as tin, copper, gold, etc. Because the area of double sided PCB is two fold of the area of single sided, and the conductor pattern can cross with each other, so it suits to be used on more complex circuits.</p>
<p>(3) Multi-layer boards</p>
<p>In order to enlarge the area of conductor pattern, multilayer PCB uses more single or double boards. It uses several piece of double sided boards, and a dielectric layer is put between every layer of boards. The layers of one PCB represent the layer of conductor patterns. The amount of the layers is always even number. Technically we can make PCBs up to 100 layers.</p>
<p> For via, if we use it on double sided PCB, the whole boards will be drilled. While on multilayer PCB, if you just want to connect some traces, via may will waste trace space of some layers. Then we use buried vias and blind vias to solve this problem, because they are only drilled through several layers.</p>
<p>a. Buried vias only connect inner PCBs, so we can&#8217;t see them from the surface.</p>
<p>b. Blind vias connects several layers PCB with surface PCB.</p>
<p>In multilayer PCB, the whole board directly connects the ground line and power (used for preventing affection of the transmission signals on the signal). So we divide layers into signal, power, or ground. If the components on PCB need different power supply, this kind of PCB would have more than two layers of power and wire layers.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I saw some basic knowledge about <a title="pcb" href="http://www.bestpcbs.com/products" target="_blank">PCB</a>, today I summarized it and I want to share with you now.</p>
<p>1. Definitions:</p>
<p>For <a title="pcb" href="http://www.bestpcbs.com/products" target="_blank">standard PCB</a>, it is the combination of bare board and components on it. While for <a title="pcb" href="http://www.bestpcbs.com/products" target="_blank">bare board PCB</a>, it is called printed wiring board. We usually call it PWB.</p>
<p>(1) Traces:</p>
<p>The base material of <a href="http://www.bestpcbs.com/products" target="_blank">PCB</a> is comprised of dielectric, heat insulation, uneasy to bend materials. On its surface, we can see thin traces, its material is copper. Originally the copper covered the whole <a href="http://www.bestpcbs.com/products">PCB</a>. Parts of it were etched during the process of production. Those parts left become net-like thin traces, which are called conductor pattern, and are used to provide circuit connection for components on <a href="http://www.bestpcbs.com/products">PCB</a>.</p>
<p>(2) Name of two side:</p>
<p>On most common <a title="single sided PCB" href="http://www.bestpcbs.com/products" target="_blank">single sided PCB</a>, components are on one side, conductor pattern is on the other side. Then we would need to drill holes on the board, so that pins can put through the board to the other side. Therefore, the both sides of PCB are called component side and solder side.</p>
<p>(3) Gold finger:</p>
<p>Gold finger is functioned to connect two <a href="http://www.bestpcbs.com/products">PCBs</a>. We usually insert the gold finger of one PCB to the proper slot of the other PCB. </p>
<p>(4) Solder mask and silk screen:</p>
<p>The green or white oil on <a href="http://www.bestpcbs.com/products">PCB </a>is called solder mask, which is functioned as dielectric protective layer, can protects copper traces and also can prevent components to be soldered at incorrect place.</p>
<p>On the dielectric layer, a layer of silk screen will be printed. Some words will be printed to show the position of those components. It is also called legend.</p>

However NAND doesn’t work. Although NAND’price reduces quickly too, it can’t match the increasing speed of mainstream storage density. There are only 6 manufacturers of hard disks, and the quantity will reduce; while the number of <a href="http://www.bestfpc.com">FPC </a>manufacturers is much larger. They have little space to discuss the price. Meanwhile, the patterns of <a href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products">FPCs </a>needed for hard disk are so unitary. All of those determine that the growth of <a href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products">FPC</a> in hard disk market is strong.</p>
<p>The situation in optical drive industry is similar to that in  hard disk industry, thanks to the increase of Blue Ray. The market of <a href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products/rigid-flex circuit boards">FPC</a> in printer is also relatively stable. The electronics of automobiles is obvious too. On the occasion of using ECU, <a href="http://www.bestfpc.com">FPCs </a>are always needed. They are of high reliability and space superiority.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As is known to all, the FPCs are divided into single layer, double layers, dual access, multiayer and flex rigid.</p>
<p>Now I want to introduce the basic method of calculating the thickness of FPCs.</p>

<p>The constructure of single layer FPC is as follows:<img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-65" src="http://www.bestfpc.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/the-board-thickness-for-single-sided-FPC.bmp" alt="the board thickness for single sided FPC" /></p>
<p>25um+20um+35um+20um+25um=125um≈0.12mm</p>
<p>Note: the thickness of adhesive changes according to the thickness of Cu. For 1/2, 1/3 OZ Cu, we usually use 12um adhesive. But for 1OZ Cu, we have to use 20um adhesive.</p>
<p>That’s according to the common material. If we want the board to be thinner, we also can use the adhesiveless material to make the board about 0.8mm thick.</p>

<p>Double sided FPC means there are two layer of traces in the FPC.</p>

<p>1. Original cost is high</p>
<p>Because the <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a> is designed and made for special application, the cost of circuit design, wiring and photographic plate is high. Except special need, we’d better not use them.</p>
<p>2. The modification and correction is difficult</p>
<p>Once <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPCs </a>are made, if we want to modify, we have to begin from the base drawing or gerber program. Therefore it’s difficult to change. On its surface there is a <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/design-guide/material.htm" target="_blank">coverlay</a>. Before the modification, we have to remove it, after the modification, we have to recover it, which is difficult.</p>
<p>3. Dimension limitation</p>
<p>Since <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>is not popular, we usually use intermittent method to make them. Then we can’t make too long or wide <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a> with the limit of manufacture instruments dimensions.</p>
<p>4. Easier to be damaged if improper operation</p>
<p>It is easier to cause the damage of <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products" target="_blank">FPC circuits </a>because of improper operation. Special trained workers are needed in tin plating and rework</p>
<p> B: Advantages</p>
<p><a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>is the <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products" target="_blank">printed circuit board </a>which is made of flexible insulating <a title="base material" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/design-guide/material.htm" target="_blank">base material</a>. It has many advantages many <a title="rigid-flex boards" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products/rigid-flex circuit boards" target="_blank">rigid PCBs</a> don’t have.</p>
<p>1. It can be bent, rolled, folded freely, can be arranged randomly according to the space, can be moved and stretched in 3-D space, then integrate the components assembly and wiring connection.</p>
<p>2. It can satisfy the need of electronic products to develop in the direction of high density, smaller size, higher reliability, since <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>can greatly reduce the volume and weight of electronic products. Therefore <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>is widely applied in fields or products of aerospace, military, mobile communication, laptop, computer exterior design, PDA, and digital camera.</p>
<p>3.<a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank"> FPC</a> also has the advantages of good thermal diffusivity and solderability, easy to assembly, low combined cost. The design of <a title="rigid-flex boards" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products/rigid-flex circuit boards" target="_blank">rigid-flex boards</a> also make up the disadvantage of components carrying ability of <a title="base material" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/design-guide/material.htm" target="_blank">flexible base material</a>.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A piece of good news is coming from the PCB market in Germany: the sales of PCB manufacturer in July is increased by 7.2% than last month, which is the third time constant increase recently.</p>
<p> This index is the highest since November in 2008. However, compared with the same time last year, it is reduced by 1/8. The orders in July, 2009 are unexpected good, which is increased by 22% than in June, even 2.5% higher than in July 2008. Regarding the first seven months this year, this number only reaches the half of the level at the same time last year.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The most common packing method of <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>is to pile up 10~20pcs flexible printed circuit boards (<a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC) </a>together, fix every part on the rigid board by using paper strips. We should avoid using tape, because if the chemical substances in the tape adhesives oozes, the terminal would be easy to be oxidized and change color. The base material is polyimide which is easy to absorb moisture. The flexible printed circuit boards together with silica gel, etc. the drying agents have to be put into the polythene bag and sealed. Then put it into the cartons together with cushion material. Due to special shapes of<a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank"> FPC</a>, we should adopt different packing methods according to different shapes.</p>
<p> Before punching the outline of flexible printed circuit boards, firstly stick the <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>on the polyester supporting spring printed with adhesives, using knife mold to cut the outline, and then send to our clients. The clients can get the flexible printed circuit boards and do the assembly, or they can do the assembly at first, take them from the polyester supporting spring after finishing the assembly. This method can be only applied on the products with small dimensions. Which can greatly improve the operation efficiency  whatever to flexible printed circuit boards manufacturers or to clients.</p>
<p> The safest way is to use special tray, at first we prepare the trays according to the <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a> types. Although the management is complex, the quality is guaranteed. They are convenient to use and helpful for client assembly, low cost and can be thrown away thereafter.</p>

<p> According to the layer of conductive copper, <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a> is divided into single layer, double layer, multilayer, dual access, etc.</p>
<p> The structure of <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">single layer</a>: the most simple. Base material + transparent adhesive + copper is one set of the raw material; coverlay + adhesive is another. Firstly, the copper needs to be etched to get the traces, while the coverlay needs to be drilled to expose corresponding soldering pad. After cleansing treatment two set of raw material are bonding together by rolling. Immersion gold or tin is done on the exposed soldering pads to protect from oxidization. At last, <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>is punched into smaller ones of corresponding shape.</p>
<p> Some <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a> doesn’t use coverlay but prints solder mask on the copper directly, which lowers the cost, but worsens the mechanical strength of <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a>. Using coverlay is the best, unless at the occasion of low mechanical strength and the lower price the better,</p>
<p> The structure of double layer <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a>: when the circuits are too complicated, the single layer <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>can’t or needs copper to do ground shield, double layer even multilayer <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a> is needed.</p>
<p> The most typical difference between multilayer and single layer <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>is that the multilayer <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a> is added with through-hole structure to connect the copper on every layer. The first workmanship of base material + transparent adhesive + copper is to make through holes. Holes are drilled o the base material and copper, after cleansing treatment they are plated with a certain thickness of Cu, then the through hole is done. We call it <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">PTH (plated through hole)</a>. The technique after is almost the same with single layer <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC.</a></p>
<p> The structure of dual access <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a>: dual access<a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank"> FPC </a>has soldering pads on its two sides, mainly used to connect with other circuit boards. Although it has similar structure with single layer <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a>, its technique has great difference. Its raw material is base material + adhesive + copper, coverlay + adhesive. Holes are drilled on the coverlay according to soldering pads location, then stuck on the copper. After etching the soldering pads and traces another coverlay with drilled holes is stuck on that.</p>
<p> 2. The performance and selecting method of the materials</p>
<p> (1) Base material:</p>
<p> <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">PI (Polyimide) </a>is the most common used, which is a kind of macromolecule material of high temperature proof and high strength, invented by Dupont. The polyimide made by Dupont is called Kapton. Besides some polyimide made in Japan can also be found. Its price is much lower.</p>
<p> Polyimide can bear 10 seconds of high temperature of 400 degree centigrade. Its tensile strength is 15,000~30,000 PSI.</p>
<p> The base material with 25um thickness is the cheapest and the most popular one. If we need the <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">circuit board </a>to be more rigid, we should choose 50um. Otherwise, if we need the circuit boards to be more flexible, then choose 13um.</p>
<p> (2) Adhesive:</p>
<p> It is divided into epoxy resin and <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">polyethylene</a>, they are all thermosetting adhesive. The polyethylene’s strength is lower. If we hope the circuit boards to be more flexible, then choose polyethylene. The thicker the base material and the adhesive on it is , the more rigid the circuit boards are. If the circuit boards have to be bent in a large area, we should choose thinner base material and adhesive so as to reduce the stress on the surface of the copper, then lower appearance of micro crack.</p>
<p> (3) Copper:</p>
<p>It is divided into <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">rolled annealed copper foil </a>and electrodeposited cooper foil. Rolled annealed copper foil is of high strength and can stand bending, but its price is higher. Electrodeposited copper foil is much cheaper, but of low strength, easier to be bent.</p>
<p>When we choose to use rolled annealed copper foil, we should pay attention to the direction of the copper. The direction of the copper has to be the same with the bending direction of the circuit boards.</p>
<p> (4) <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">Coverlay </a>and its adhesive:</p>
<p> 25um coverlay would make the circuit board more rigid, but it is cheaper. Therefore to the circuit board needing to be bent greatly, we’d better choose 13um coverlay.</p>
<p> The adhesive is also divided into epoxy resin and polyethylene. The <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>using epoxy is more rigid. After thermosetting, there are some adhesive squeezed out at the edge of the coverlay. If the soldering pads are larger than the hole on the coverlay, the adhesive squeeze out would reduce the size of the soldering pads and lead to irregular edge. Therefore, we’d better choose 13um adhesive.</p>

<p> According to the combination ways of the base material and the copper, the <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPCs </a>can be divided into two kinds: adhesive <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>and adhesiveless <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a>.</p>
<p> The price of adhesiveless <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>is much higher than the adhesive <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a>. However it is superior to <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a> in the aspects of flexibility, boning force of copper and the base material, and the flatness of soldering pad. Therefore generally it only is used in the occasion of high demand, such as COF (chip on flex, to mount exposed chips on <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>has high requirement of the soldering pad flatness).</p>
<p> Due to adhesiveless <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC&#8217;</a>s high price, at present most of the <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPCs</a> applied at the market are adhesive.</p>
<p> Because the <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC</a> is mainly used at the occasion of bending, if the design or technique is not proper, defaults such as micro-crack, snap of the welding point will be easy to arise. I will introduce the structure of <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">FPC </a>and its special requirements on design and technique.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">flexible printed circuits</a> are designed to save room and improve product design flexibility, which can satisfy the design need of smaller and higher density installation, in favor of decreasing mounting steps and improving reliability, and become the only solution for satisfying the miniaturization and flexibility of electronic products.</p>
<p> The <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">flexible circuit boards</a> are to etch the copper traces on the polymer base material, or to print polymer heavy layer circuit. In regard to thin, light, tightly and complicated structured components, their design scheme comprises from single sided conductive circuit to complex multilayer 3-D packing. The overall quality and volume of flexible packing decreases by 70% than using the traditional mega wire thread method. The <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">flexible circuit </a>can also increase its strength by using supporting material or lining board, so as to obtain extra mechanical stability.</p>
<p><strong> </strong>The <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">flexible circuits</a> can be moved, bent, twisted, without ruining the traces. They are with different shapes and special packing dimensions. The only limit is the problem of room and volume. Due to being able to bear millions of dynamic bending, the flexible circuits can be well applied in the inner connection system of continuous movement or regular movement, becoming one part of the final product function. Some products demanding for smaller shape modulus/packing dimensions because of the movement of electrical signal/power all benefit from the flexible circuits.</p>
<p> The <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">flexible circuit </a>provides good electrical performance. Lower dielectric constant allows electrical signals to transmit quickly. Good thermal performance makes the assembly easy to cool. Higher glass transfer temperature or melting point makes the assembly work well at higher temperature.</p>
<p> Because the quantity of the hardware needed for inner connection is reduced, such as the welding pots、trunk lines, base board traces and cables usually used in traditional electric packing, the flexible circuits can provide with higher installation reliability and yield. When the traditional inner connection hardware comprised of many complicated systems is mounted, higher rate of assembly out of alignment happens easier. As the emergence of quality engineering, a very thin flexible system is designed to be mounted in only one way, so as to eliminate the human error related to independent wiring installation。</p>
<p> At early stage the <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">flexible circuits</a> are mainly applied in the fields such as the connection between the small or thin electronic products and rigid printed boards. In the end of 1970s, they were used in the electrical products such as computers, digital cameras, ink jet printers, car audio, CD-ROM and hard disk driver. Opening one 35mm camera, there are 9~14 different <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com" target="_blank">flexible circuits</a>. The only way to decrease volume is smaller assembly, more precise lines, tighter spacing, and bendable objects. Heart maker, medical instruments, video camera, hearing aid, laptops, all most all the products we use comprise of flexible circuits today.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Look into the prospect of 2009 <a title="PCB" href="http://www.bestpcbs.com">PCB</a> industry, due to the fact that the Notebook (NB) and intelligent mobile phone still have the potentiality to grow, therefore, people in the industry generally believe that there are still hope for the growth of NB board and <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com">FPC</a>.</p>
<p>Because the prices of NB fall year after year, and people’s demand for PC mobility increases constantly, the tendency that NB will replace the desktop computer becomes more and more obvious. Some brokers in Taiwan expect that the worldwide turnout of NB in 2009 will be 131 million sets, increasing by 3.7% than that in 2008. Considering the additional demand for low cost NB, they estimate that the turnout of whole NB will reach 155 million sets. Annual growth rate will reach 12.58%. This growth prediction is rarely seen recently. Therefore it’s unnecessary for the NB board manufacturers to worry about. The NB turnout of Hann Star board and Gold Circuit Electronics in 2008 will increase 7% and word wide market share will rise from 63% (in 2007) to 70% which will make NB market a duopoly and there is nearly impossible for a new company entering into.</p>
<p>Besides, the market generally believes that the overall mobile phone demand in 2009 will decline. For intelligent mobile phones which use lot of <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com">FPC</a>, however, the turnout in 2009 is estimated to be 186 million sets. The annual growth rate is still as high as 18.1%, which becomes the largest growth power for Taiwan <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com">FPC</a> industry. As for the aspect of supply, because of the fierce competition, many second-tier <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com">FPC</a> factories became bankrupt, which will be helpful to keep the  stability of <a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com">FPC</a> industry.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last time, we have dicussed the feature of LED flex circuit, and this time, we will mention the way to make that <a title="flexible circuit" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/" target="_blank">Flexible circuit</a>. </p>
<p><strong>1) The whole Flex circuit is the repeated of several section of FPC.</strong></p>

And then solder each sections together, strip-by-strip, to make a long flex circuit boards. </p>

<p>After several strip of FPC is connected by soldering, or using connector, we will do testing and then packing them in a roll, normally 3 meter, or 5 meter. It should be packing in vacuum packing. </p>
<p>  <strong>2) Just make the enough length single FPC one time, without the soldering connecting.</strong></p>
<p> This is used in some special end-products which obvious soldering is prohibitted and more strength is needed. Of course, this kind of FPC is more difficult to make, becuase of manufacuturing artwork &amp; equipment limited.  </p>

<p>In fact, this <a title="flexible circuit" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/" target="_blank">Flexible circuit</a> with LED is a special <a title="single sided fpc" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products/single-sided-fpc.htm" target="_blank">single sided fpc</a> or two <a title="Double layer FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/products/double-sided-fpc.htm">layers FPC</a>, with adhesive tape at the bottom side, easy peel off and installation. The outstanding characteristic is its length. Theoretically, the length of this <a title="flexible circuit" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/" target="_blank">Flexible circuit</a> can be made according to clients’ request.</p>

<p>Here we&#8217;d like to talk about some features of <strong>Flexible Circuits with LED</strong> &amp; <strong>LED Flexible Circuits</strong></p>
<p>1) Separable SMD/SMT LED strip on <a title="Flexible circuit boards " href="http://www.bestfpc.com/">Flexible circuit boards</a> can be bended to the tour of any products with self adhesive tape back, easy installation! They are mounted on self-adhesive tape and can be conveniently field-cut. For adhesive tape, normally we use 3M 467/946/966, or as per request.</p>
<p>2) As long as the clients request (strip-to-strip soldered connecting). You can also choose our extreme long FPC which is 9.8 feet (3m) without soldering.</p>
<p>3) This flex circuit modules, after LED SMT/SMD were done, are ideal for edge lighting transparent and diffuse material. They provide an optimal solution for precise backlighting of complex contours. They can also be used of lifesaving/rescue sign lights and commercial signs and for making contours like escape routes, borders and stairs.</p>
<p>4) Customer design LED location, quantity, color (red, green, blue, true green, white (phosphor on blue), yellow, etc), according to the request of luminous intensity &amp; color.</p>
<p>5) Flexible circuit boards (<a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/" target="_blank">FPC</a>) surface in white finish, with classic looking, or as per request</p>
<p>6). With IC constant current circuits, guarantee stable working current and even light output for the whole reel of lights.</p>

<p>China Ministry of Finance said Tuesday that, starting July 1, the country would cut or eliminate export tax rebates for 2,831 commodities representing 37 percent of the total number of items listed on customs tax regulations.</p>
<p>A ministry spokesman said the move was one of a basket of measures to suppress overheated export growth and ease frictions between China and its trade partners.</p>
<p>The country will abolish export tax rebates on 553 highly polluting products that consume heavy amounts of energy and resources such as salt, cement, and liquefied petroleum gas, said the spokesman.</p>
<p>Tax rebate on exports of 2,268 commodities which â€œtend to cause trade frictionsâ€ will be reduced, he said.</p>
<p>The country will scrap the export tax for ten commodities including shelled peanuts, canvas, wood for carving and stamps, according to the spokesman.</p>
<p>The new tax rebate system will have five levels, namely 17 percent, 13 percent, 11 percent, 9 percent and 5 percent.</p>
<p>The spokesman said the cost of producing the 2,831 commodities would increase as a result of the changes to the export tax rebate regime. This would incite capital investment to move to other â€œhigh value-added and high techâ€ industries.</p>
<p>In the long run, this would help the country develop in an economic and sustainable way, he said.</p>
<p>Customs statistics show that from January to May, the country reported a trade surplus of 86 billion U.S. dollars, up 83 percent on the corresponding period of last year.</p>
<p>Soaring exports have increased liquidity in the domestic market and added to pressures on the RMB, said experts.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When we talk about the <strong><em><a title="FPC" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/">FPC</a></em></strong> in our industry, most of us know it stands for <a title="flexible printed circuit" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/">Flexible Printed Circuit</a>, the update products of PCB. Also for the <a title="flexible circuits" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/">Flexible Circuits</a>, the most broadly accepted defi nition is the one that is found in the industry standard IPC-T-50 Terms and Defi nitions for Printed Boards. In that document, flexible circuits are defi ned as “<em>A patterned arrangement of printed wiring utilizing fl exible base material with or without fl exible coverlayers</em>.” </p>
<p>Each person in circuit industry will know its definition (meaning), but do you FPC also stands for other meanings?</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I come back from <a title="China National Day" href="http://www.metal-domes.com/blog/2006/09/29/57th-china-national-day">the China National Day</a>Â today, I am curious to check the visiter Stat. of new <a title="Flexible Circuits" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/">Flexible Circuits</a> to know whether there’s  anyone visit this new site. Haha, I am so happy to find that there’re a visiter from Austria whom browse our site Oct 5th including several pages regarding of <a title="Flexible Circuits" href="http://www.bestfpc.com/">Flexible Circuits</a>. We didn’t do any propaganda  yet, and he get  our site!</p>
<p>Oh, yeah! Our first visiter outside of China. A good sign of future of business. I think they’ll be more and more visiter abroad know our site.</p>
